Safety is on the mind of Texarkana area employers more than ever before.
Texas Mutual Insurance Company is helping Texarkana College and the Four States area become safer in our workplaces.
The grant will support the college’s safety training program, which provides workplace safety courses for community employers, workers, and the general public.
Jeremy Hansen, Texas Mutual’s manager of regional safety services, will present the check to Texarkana College president Dr. Jason Smith and the college’s board of trustees.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Texas Mutual has awarded Texarkana College with a $100,000 grant for workplace safety courses.
Workplace safety education helps employees prevent accidents, health problems, and injuries. As a result, healthy workplaces are generally more productive, reducing costs and boosting morale.
This is an essential concern of most organizations. Conveniently, various methods can be used to educate employees on workplace safety. Completing a comprehensive workplace safety education program, such as the one at Texarkana College, can help ensure employees operate in a safe manner at all times.
Every twenty seconds, someone gets hurt in the workplace.
Physical injuries cost employers a lot of money every year. However, access to timely and accurate information can help.
