Audience surprised as Jan Morgan receives endorsement for U.S. Senate

Apr 15, 2022

An unflinchingly bold endorsement of U.S. Senate Jan Morgan by former National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn on live national television was a big surprise to a large studio audience in Hot Springs on Wednesday night.

The steadfast General said he was "humbled and honored" to be speaking up for a fighter as he explained why Arkansas needs Jan Morgan in the U.S. Senate.

"I am going to fully, wholeheartedly endorse Jan Morgan," Flynn said with strong emotion in his voice.

Gen. Flynn's endorsement is often considered second only to formal backing by President Donald Trump.

Morgan is a Second Amendment advocate, gun safety instructor, and former investigative journalist who recently helped lead the fight against vaccine mandates at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).

The firebrand conservative is running against incumbent John Boozman for the Republican nomination and two other challengers.

On Wednesday evening, Flynn called in via telephone to a television program that featured Jan Morgan, other America First guests from Arkansas, and the staff of Real America's Voice channel.

The program aired live from Morgan's hometown of Hot Springs with a live studio audience. The second hour was live on the social media platform "Gettr."

"I am so excited to be on her team, and I want to help her get over the goal line," Flynn said.

Gen. Flynn's advice to Arkansas

"It's so amazing there's so much happening, and I think everybody in the country knows what the real deal is," Gen. Flynn said.

"We need to be unapologetic for who we are as American citizens today," he added. "I mean, we have to be all about our principles."

Flynn said, "We have to stand firm and be fearless about who we are, and we've got to return to the Constitution of our country."

Flynn's message to weak Republicans

The General minced no words for weak-kneed elected GOP leaders: "There are people in Washington D.C. and frankly right there in Arkansas...long in the tooth politicians," Flynn said.

"These are not the type of people that we need leading our country anymore," Flynn boldly stated.

However, he said Jan Morgan will stand firm for Arkansas and all citizens of the United States of America.

Illegal immigration and sale of U.S. farmland

"I know Jan Morgan is all about closing the borders and stopping the sale of farmland to foreign countries," Flynn said. "

He added: "One of the big things people don't know about it is we are selling our farmland to foreign nationals - especially China. I mean, it's unbelievable."

Flynn said it was "ridiculous" for the USA to be energy dependent on the Middle East and Russia: "We are paying Russia... for fuel and energy resources. It's insane."

Flynn said Jan Morgan is a problem solver

According to Gen. Flynn, a strong voice like Morgan will help conservatives win.

"I mean, we've got to fix these problems," he said. "We can no longer have these politicians that got us into these problems in the first place."

Flynn added: "We all have to reflect on what our actions need to be."

The hard fight ahead

The General then offered one of his favorite mantras. He said:  "I love to use this phrase: 'Local action has a national impact.'"

Flynn added: "Now is the time to  stand up, step up, speak up... get involved with your communities and get involved with these campaigns and get behind people like Jan."

He said: "And we really do need to fight hard. We have got to take this country back."

Gen. Flynn embraces Arkansas

The former National Security Advisor said he spent time at Fort Chaffee near Fort Smith and "loved" Arkansas.

As the show wrapped up, Jan Morgan sincerely thanked Gen. Flynn and told him that Arkansans loved him as well.

"Thank you, General. Thank you for the endorsement. And America loves you," the America First Senate candidate said.

What the endorsement means

The full-throated endorsement from Gen. Michael Flynn was an exciting live TV moment that will reverberate around the state with America First voters.

During the endorsement, Jan Morgan was beaming, and the intensity in the crowd was palpable.

Gen. Flynn's truly heartfelt message was not a standard, bland mainstream Republican endorsement.

You could hear genuine excitement in the General's voice. It was evident that he believes Jan Morgan will be a powerful voice in protecting the personal liberties of Arkansans and the borders of the USA.

The jubilant crowd thanked the General with thunderous applause.

Will Jan Morgan capitalize on Gen. Flynn's offer to work with her team and help inform Arkansas voters?

That remains to be seen. However, the U.S. Senate race in Arkansas just got more interesting.

And there is no doubt that Gen. Michael Flynn's enthusiastic endorsement of Jan Morgan as a "fighter" will resonate strongly with America First voters in Arkansas.
