Regional Water Planning meeting open to public comment on Wednesday in Pittsburg

Water is a significant issue in Northeast Texas, and the public is invited to comment at a special meeting in Pittsburg, Texas, on Wednesday, October 9, at 1 pm.

The Regional Water Planning Group D will be held in the Region 8 Education Service Center at 4845 US Highway 271 N.

This is an important meeting because the group will be choosing a representative for Region D to represent the interests to Region C.

Texas Water Development Board Project Manager Ron Ellis will be giving his report, and a consultant will be giving a progress update on the Region D Water Plan to meet alternative water strategies that have previously been discussed.

This is the last meeting in 2019, so it is important for the public to attend if they have information to share with Region D.
