Outdoor and indoor sale in Texarkana brings unique items and bargains on Saturday

Local dealers in Texarkana are preparing to thrill shoppers with an outdoor and indoor Community Sale on Saturday, November 2.

Vendors are bringing in unique items for the outdoor event and also offering exclusive deals indoors at the Owl's Nest on the Loop.

Weather permitting, the sale will begin outside around 7:30 am, and selling indoors will start at 10 am on Saturday morning.

The event had initially been planned for October 26, but it was rescheduled for Saturday, November 2, due to inclement weather during the last weekend of October.

The good news is that this allows local sellers to have extra time to find special products and deals for customers on November 2.

One local merchant told us that vendors will be moving out current merchandise to make room for new items during the Christmas season.

"Space is limited, so many of us will be drastically reducing our prices to make way for Christmas-themed merchandise," he said.

Moreover, the outdoor sale will allow vendors at the Owl's Nest on the Loop to showcase items too large to put inside the building.

That means local dealers will be offering all varieties of furniture, and we are told that many unique, larger items will be on offer as well.

Christmas ornament decorating

A special workshop will be held at Group Project Studio inside Owl's Nest on the Loop.

Participants will work together to create their own Christmas ornament, and all materials are provided, and everyone is free to bring their own refreshments.

More information can be found on the Group Project Studio Facebook page.

Bring a truck?

Owl's Nest on the Loop is filled to the brim with exciting products and great deals, according to owner Jayna McKinnon.

"The store is so full right now," she said. "And our local vendors are bringing in new items all the time."

On the day of the outdoor sale, more substantial items that are too big to display indoors will be offered, so shoppers may want to bring a truck for purchases of furniture or larger items on Saturday, November 2, at the Community Sale.
