Two of our favorite things — Dr. Pepper and the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana — are changing the life of a Hope, Arkansas college student.
Joaquin Valadez, of Hope, was announced as the proud recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from Dr. Pepper/Sales Tuition Award Promotion.
The scholarship is to be used for postsecondary educational expenses from an accredited two or four-year college, technical school, or vocational school in the United States.Joaquin is majoring in nursing at UAHT.
