Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush will be out and about in the Texarkana area on Tuesday.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana officials and students will host Bush for a breakfast and tour of the university on Tuesday, June 25th.
Bush, grandson of President George H.W. Bush and son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, will be in Texarkana to meet with community leaders and tour local institutions including the TexAmericas Center, Texarkana College, and Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
“We’re excited to welcome Commissioner Bush to Texarkana and to our A&M-Texarkana campus,” said university President Dr. Emily Cutrer.
“We have something special here, offering world-class academics at an affordable price," she said. "Our campus is beautiful, and we enjoy getting to show people the positive impact A&M-Texarkana is having here at home and throughout East Texas.”
