Texarkana, Arkansas women take first place in Coca-Cola Relays; Pole vaulting record set in Nashville's Scrapper Stadium by Haze Farmer

It was a great day at Nashville Scapper Stadium when the Texarkana's Arkansas High women took first place in the Coca-Cola Relays while the Arkansas High men came in a stellar third place only bested by Magnolia in first and Prescott in second place.

Haze Farmer of Lake Hamilton made a 17'01" jump - setting a Coca-Cola Relay meet record (MR). It was not Farmer's best-ever showing, but the Lake Hamilton pole vaulting phenom made the jump look easy (see video below). Unfortunately for Arkansas, Farmer plans to attend the University of Georgia, but we wish him well (except against any University of Arkansas team member).

Pole vaulting has become increasingly popular in the state of Arkansas, the Coca-Cola Relays at Nashville Scrapper Stadium showcased good attendance for all events. You can find full boys and girls results below.
