Lake Wright Patman fishing alert from a local fisherman: "The slab crappie are biting well below the Lake Wright Patman flood control gates. Bring minnows or jigs to catch these big slab crappie. Fish from the wall, down on the rocks or put your boat in for some great fishing. The flood control gates are open at 1145 cfs making the perfect river current flow for feeding crappie. Will see all of you down there pulling in the slabs."
