Craighead County has announced it is correcting ballots, and Phillips County will change ballots today.
It has been almost 300 days since Bequette's campaign was accused of stolen valor for lying on his campaign website about his military service dates. Yet, Bequette has issued no press release or public statement addressing the issue. And this is quite odd for someone like Bequette, who was quick to allege "election fraud" in Craighead and Phillips county.
Capitalizing on the issue
NOT an Army Ranger
Jake Bequette has also claimed to be an Army Ranger - even though he never served as an Army Ranger and does not even have the famous tan beret from the 75th Regiment.
The public affairs specialist at Fort Benning in Georgia, which houses the famous 75th Army Ranger Regiment, told Texarkana News that a person with Bequette's resume should not be called or calling themselves an "Army Ranger" or "Former Army Ranger."
Hidden swamp creature
Jake Bequette has concealed the fact that he attended law school in Washington, D.C. - probably because he has campaigned against the city by calling it the "swamp."
Bequette likely doesn't want people to know that he is asking voters to go back to Washington, D.C., where he could finish his law degree in the Georgetown Law School Evening program on the dime of Arkansas voters.
It should be noted that Georgetown is a Catholic-based university. In addition, Bequette is Catholic and is likely still a member of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock.
